Job Description
We are searching for two full-time Family Medicine faculty members who will practice the full scope of family medicine, teach residents and medical students, and conduct research. These positions will teach our residents and medical students in a clinical setting, serve as faculty advisor for residents, and provide periodic lectures to the residents and medical students. The positions provide complete and comprehensive care to area hospitals and the Family Medicine Center and the Patient Centered Medical Home at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Required Qualifications
MD, DO or equivalent and successful completion of an ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency Program and must be board certified or board eligible by employment start date. If candidate is board eligible, they must have the ability to obtain certification within two years of completing their residency. They must also possess and maintain a state board of pharmacy license and DEA license. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, malpractice insurance, and must be able to be successfully credentialed by Northern Nevada teaching hospitals.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with low risk obstetrics is preferred.
