Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, Clinical Physician (Reno
We are searching for one full-time Family Medicine faculty member who will be responsible for directing patient care including low risk obstetrics, teaching residents and medical students, and conducting research. This position will teach our residents and medical students in a clinical setting; serve as faculty advisor for residents, and provide periodic lectures to the residents and medical students. The position also directs patient care in the Family Medicine Center and area hospitals providing complete and comprehensive care including low risk OB. This position does not include an administrative role within the University of Nevada School of Medicine.Requirements: MD, DO or equivalent and successful completion of an ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency Program and be board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine. Must possess and maintain a state board of pharmacy license and DEA license. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, malpractice insurance, and must be able to be successfully credentialed by Northern Nevada teaching hospitals.
